    What to expect

    Description of the trek

The Voronezh River is formed near the village of Novonikolskoye in the Tambov Region, the confluence of the Lesnoy and Polnoi Voronezh rivers. On the Novonikolskoye-Krivets site there are several villages on the left bank, on the right - a deciduous forest.

The route begins in the village of Krivets (highway Lipetsk-Michurinsk).

Behind the village the river completely leaves for the forest. Dobrinsky Biosphere Reserve is located on the left bank. The reserve territory is pine and deciduous forests, meadows, marshes and lakes, where various animals and birds live.

For 35-40 kilometers on the river there are practically no settlements. The river then winds along the wide floodplain, then enters the forest. The water in the river is clean, along the beaches there are many sandy beaches.

The route ends at the village of Kalikino, located on the right bank of the river, from here to Lipetsk about 50 kilometers.
