Canyon of the Belaya River (Khadzhokhskaya gorge). Canyon of the Belaya River — Khadzhokh's business card! On the southern outskirts of the village, the noisy White River runs in the depths of a magnificent canyon. The depth of the canyon is about 20 meters, and the length is 350-400 meters! The banks of the river in some places completely entwined with each other, forming amazing stone bridges. So the village got its name — Kamennomostsky (or Khadzhokh). Even on a very bright day, the sun does not penetrate the remote corners of the gorge. Above the water, in the stone walls, you can see the grooves, shelves, niches — all this is the result of the centuries-old work of the turbulent river. During a walk through the gorge on our way we will meet amazing stone arches, small waterfalls. We will take a picture with a sculpture of a bear, an eagle and will gladly feed an amusing local inhabitant — an ostrich Vasya! :)) The active part of the route: 1.3 km, elevation difference 410-420 m, excursion duration 3 hours.
Rufabgo gorge and waterfalls. Several gorges diverge from the village of Khadzhokh. One of the most popular among tourists is the gorge of the Rufabgo river, decorated with noisy waterfalls. The route is equipped with comfortable stairs and bridges that facilitate our way along the gorge. During the tour we will see the picturesque waterfalls: “Heart of Rufabgo”, “Shnurochek”, “Girlish braids”, which height is from 5 to 14 meters! We will also go to excellent viewing platforms and visit a large cave — the parking of the primitive man. The grotto is called "Cat's eye" due to the unique through hole in the cave dome. The active part of the route: 10.2 km, elevation difference 410-580 m, excursion duration 6-7 hours.
Guam Gorge. From the village of Guamka begins one of the most popular and fabulously beautiful places in the region — the Guam Gorge. It is located on the northern edge of the Lago-Naki plateau and is the real gateway to this mountainous region. The walls of the gorge rise up to 400 (!!!) meters. On the rocks grows yew, boxwood, juniper, and along the bottom of the stone canyon runs the emerald mountain river Kurdzhips. Long ago, a narrow-gauge railway was built in the gorge, along which a sightseeing train runs. But it is much more interesting to go all the way on foot, so that you can go down to the bottom of the canyon and take a lot of amazing pictures! The active part of the route: 6.4 km, elevation difference 480-570 m, excursion duration 6-7 hours.
Rope course, climbing lessons. Today is one of the most interesting and memorable days! Have you ever dreamed of climbing yourself? Today these dreams will come true! We go to the gorge of the Belaya River and, under the guidance of an experienced instructor, learn to descend with the rappelling! Dulfer — downhill on a rope from a cliff with the help of special descenders, such as the "eight", "petal", "ladder". Dulfer descent is carried out on two ropes. One is held by the instructor, ensuring your safety, and the second is controlled by you, adjusting the speed of descent. Descent is not difficult technically or physically, but requires a certain amount of courage! :))) Then go to the climbing! Our instructor will be happy to teach you all the intricacies of this business. But that's not all! We go to the stream Mezmaysky, we stretch the crossing and cross over to the other side of the stream. Then we climb a little upstream, admiring the picturesque waterfall. Then we learn to climb up on the Jumar. Zhumar is a special device for lifting rope. After today, bright and positive emotions are guaranteed to everyone! Kids and adults are always delighted with the rope course! :)) Event duration: 6 hours.
Bolshaya Azishskaya cave, Zerbelevy glades, dolmens, the Angel Wing, a cave, waterfalls on the Kutanka River, an observation deck on Lago-Naki, the Granite Canyon. Today we will have a very busy day! In the morning we go to the Azish-Tau range, which donated the Big Azish cave to these places . This is a unique monument of nature! The spacious cave halls are decorated with stalactites, stalagmites and pillars of amazing shapes. Some rock formations even have their names. The most interesting thing is called the "tree of happiness";)) Next we have along the route spacious Zerbelevy glades, behind which is a group of 24 dolmens. P rikosnemsya to these amazing facilities and go ahead! Another amazing object on our way is the Angel Wing Cave. For thousands of years the grotto was exposed to weathering and now inside it looks like cheese with large holes))). Very unusual and picturesque! But even that is not all! Ahead of us are waterfalls on the Kutanka River, viewing platforms on the Stone Sea, the Lago-Naki plateau and a photo session on the Granite Canyon. The active part of the route: 10.1 km, elevation difference 1320-580 m, excursion duration 6-7 hours.
Mishoko gorge. A walk in the Mishoko gorge begins from the quarry, at the very bottom of which a spring lake was formed. The lake is called Red for a pink glow coming from the cliff at sunrise. Turning off the road, the trail goes up the pine forest and leads to a large grotto and drip spring. Above there is an observation deck, from where an amazing view opens into the depths of the gorge, on the foamy rapids of the river and the Azish-Tau ridge! Further, the path leads along noisy waterfalls, river shallows and ancient grottoes located on the terraces of the gorge. In one of these places we will stop to rest and replenish the supply of water from a cold spring. The active part of the route: 5.7 km, elevation difference 410-570 m, excursion duration 5-6 hours.
Museum "Garden of Stones" and the Khadzhokh dolmen. There are more than 3,000 dolmen in the territory of the Western Caucasus. The Khadzhokh dolmen is one of the few surviving in the local area. It is a monument of archeology IV-III thousand BC. The dolmen is located on the edge of a cozy apple orchard, in the shade of a grove with large trees. The origin and purpose of dolmens for scientists is still a mystery. But there are several interesting hypotheses about the occurrence of dolmens, which you will definitely learn! Near the dolmen there is a paleontological museum, in which there are many beautiful stones and ammonites — shells of ancient mollusks that inhabited the Tethys ocean a long time ago.
St. Michael's Monastery. St. Michael's Monastery was built near the village Hadzhoh. The monastery is located in a very picturesque place — on the slope of Mount Fiziabgo. At the end of the XIX century it was the largest monastery in the North Caucasus, and at the moment it is the highest Orthodox monastery in Russia. Here is a whole system of caves and secret passages. As the popular belief says, these moves previously connected all temples standing on the surface. Under the ground, the monks kept their shrines, there was also a library and icon-painting workshop. Also on the territory of the monastery is the source, which has a healing miracle. The active part of the route: 3.1 km, the duration of the tour 4-5 hours.
