What to expect
Route:Our journey will begin on the left, Borskiy bank of the Volga. A trip from Bor. To p. Rusenikha will pass along the bottom of the ancient sea.
Only upon arrival on the coast of Vetluga we will be at an altitude approximately equal to the level of the Djatlovy Mountains (the Upper part of Nizhny Novgorod).
Those. actually on the other side of the sea. During the trip we will talk about the formation of local relief made by glaciers.
Let's see the boulders brought by this glacier and collect the fir tree (fir oil), which we use in the primitive bath during the rafting *.
If desired, along the way, you can see the process of production of charcoal, the technology of manufacturing which has not changed since ancient times. *
Then we will visit the Rusenikhinskoe ancient settlement, the site of ancient people of the Anan'ian culture of the 9th-3rd centuries BC.
From here begins the water part of the journey.
The next stop is connected with visiting the Resurrection Museum, where we will see the remains of dinosaurs inhabiting these places and learn the history of the past of this ancient village.
The final stop is the Museum of Russian Taiga. Here we drink tea from a samovar with honey from honeycombs, from wild forest bees, sum up and visit the Levashov estate or Lake Svetloyar (optional).
During the trip we will make a souvenir from the linden bark, and learn some secret properties of this tree
