11: 00-11: 30 — group gathering at the airport and at the railway station of Mineralnye Vody (near the main entrance to the station from the side of the city). Transfer by bus to the Bezengi camp camp (about 5-6 hours). In the village of Bezengi, the usual asphalt ends and the dirt road begins. Next, we are waiting for verification of documents at the post at the border guards.

The gorge Bezengi. Finally we are in the mountains! Against the background of snow-capped peaks, the Mecca of mountain climbers stands out — the Bezengi high-altitude camp. On its territory we will put your campground. Today we will make a sightseeing tour of the alpine camp and go up to the observation deck. From here we will see the gorges of the rivers Mizhyrgi, Bezengi and part of the famous Bezengi Wall. Alpine camp Bezengi is a separate, amazing world! On its territory there are buildings for living, a private dining room, a shower room, a souvenir shop and even a kindergarten! Going to the ascent, climbers can always leave their children here under supervision. Tourists love to gather at a local cafe, where there is a large, embossed layout of the Bezengi district, which we will also see today!

    Day 2

Gorge Bezengi, waterfall Zhigindzhi. Ecotrail. The Bezengi gorge is a real land of waterfalls! Today we are heading to one of them — the Zhigindi waterfall. At the very top of the Kargashilsky range there is a glacier, which gives rise to the Zhiginki River. And the river, in turn, gives us a beautiful, snow-white waterfall. Water jumps up the mountain steps and forms several picturesque cascades. You can get close to the waterfall and make luxurious photos of water spray on the background of the mountains! In July, our photos will also be decorated with blooming orange poppies — the rarest of flowers, the highlight of these places.

We go further along the route! Ahead of us is an ecotrail to the Bezengi glacier. Small trees, shrubs grow along the path, bright flowers delight the eye. It is very easy to walk along the path, because it is specially created for tourists, there are even benches here))). Informational stands with the description of local flora and fauna are installed along the whole route. With each step we are getting closer and closer to our goal — a stunning Bezengi glacier! It is considered one of the largest glaciers of the Caucasus. The length of the glacier ranges from 13 to 20 kilometers, and the thickness of the ice reaches 180 meters !! Can you imagine this? This is incredible! Until the evening we walk in these places and enjoy the beauty! The active part of the route: 5.5 km, elevation difference 2140-2040-2200 m, route duration 5-6 hours.

    Day 3

The gorge of the river Thought. Early in the morning we go to the gorge of the river Thought. Although we left not far from our usual parking lot, the landscape has changed a lot. Of course, around our favorite mountains, but today most of the route we will go through the forest! The gorge of the river Thought is very green, it always gives us mushrooms, in July it pleases with strawberries, and in August and September indulges with raspberries and blueberries! Our path climbs smoothly through the meadows, higher and higher along the beautiful Thought River. On the wooden bridge we will cross the river. It is worth freezing on the bridge for a few seconds — and you immediately feel the power of a fast, noisy mountain river! Soon we will leave on a huge green glade where dinner is waiting for us. But it will be a little later. In the meantime, we are going to admire the Ukyu Falls! The narrow gorge firmly compresses the river in its stone embrace and gives us a waterfall. Ukyu Falls is high, foamy, snow-white! You will like it =)) The active part of the route: 9.6 km, elevation difference 1590-2070 m, the duration of the route is 6-7 hours.

    Day 4

Waterfall Gidan, Mizhirgi Glacier, North Face. Today we will have an incredibly bright day! We will come very close to the Northern wall — an amazing creation of nature. Any climber with a sinking heart will tell you that the Northern Massif is a huge mountain wall. 15 kilometers of pure snow and ice, 4 five thousand meters !! The wall bends, so it is often called the snow horseshoe. On a sunny day, against the blue-blue sky, the Northern wall sparkles with its ideal glaciers, and white clouds swirl above its tops. You just can not take your eyes off her, she is so good and effective! At the foot of the wall, the Mizhyrgi glacier stretches proudly . It is so amazing to walk on the glacier when blue forget-me-nots or daisies bloom nearby. But this is exactly what happens in the Bezengi gorge! On the way back we will admire the sunny waterfall Gidan. It is in the afternoon that the sun shines it perfectly! Hydan is a cascade waterfall that flows in rapid streams from Mount Gidan-tau. We take photos and go down to the alpine camp. The active part of the route: 13.2 km, elevation difference of 2140-2820 m, the route duration is 7 hours.

    Day 5

Climbing lessons. All week we live in the territory of the Bezengi mountain camp. Dozens of happy mountaineers walk around us who came to conquer the local peaks. Today we will get a little closer to these people and feel for ourselves what it is to climb rocks! On the rocky Ayutash spur to improve the skills of climbers, equipped with places for rock activities. This place is called the Rock Laboratory. You will receive instruction and learning the basics of climbing under the guidance of experienced instructors. And then — go to the climbing tracks for beginners! First, we try the most unpretentious routes, and if we want to, we’ll go on to longer and more difficult routes. The routes here have the most unusual names: “Black tooth”, “Road to the clouds”, “Scent of the wind” “Seasons”. Climbing is a great workout, after which you have pleasant fatigue and a victorious feeling of climbing the height! Event duration: 4 hours.

    Day 6

Glacier Bezengi. Lake Barankosh. We leave the camp early and go up the Bezengi glacier. We will walk along the rocky slope, follow the moraine and leave our traces on the real glacier! With each step we will come closer and closer to the magnificent, snow-white Bezengi wall. The wall is 13 kilometers of snow and ice, there are two five thousand meters here : Dzhangitau (5085 m) and Shkhara (5193 m). On the way we will admire the magnificent mountain of Gestol, which rests on the sky with its sharp, snow-white peak! The route to the Bezengi wall always causes trepidation and delight of tourists. It is here that you immediately feel all the strength and power of high mountains! Further along the route, in the side pocket of the moraine, there is Lake Barankosh. Snowy peaks of the Bezengi Wall are perfectly reflected in its calm waters! !!! The instructor decides to visit Lake Barankosh based on the physical training of the group. The active part of the passage along the route "Bezengi Glacier": 6.3 km, elevation difference 2140-2550 m, the duration of the route is 5-6 hours.
