    What to expect

The indigenous population of Siberia has been engaged in taiga fisheries since time immemorial, providing itself with everything necessary at the expense of forest products. Very often fishers for months live away from civilization, extracting valuable raw materials and products in the harsh conditions of the taiga. Thanks to this, Siberians have accumulated knowledge and skills of survival in the wild.

The modern world is a world of cities, a world of comfort. Cars, showers, microwave ovens, supermarkets with sausage or ready-made salads already sliced for us ... As we are accustomed to, the children of civilization, to comfort and comfort ... And having got into the forest, we are lost in the mountains, not finding the north or south or not determining - can this mushroom eat or not. This is not an extreme tour - it's much more! This is a real test for strength! About the past - about the "reality" of office life - you will forget as soon as you get off the helicopter and it will hide behind the mountains from your eyes.

How to behave with wild animals at a meeting in their territory?

What can you eat in the forest, and what better to leave to the enemy?

What do you need to know about ticks? How to secure your night's lodging?

You have a unique opportunity to learn from the centuries-old experience of the Baikal taiga aborigines - to ensure their existence in the wild nature of Siberia. You will learn how to get yourself food, to find clean water, to light a bonfire, to orient yourself in the forest, to distinguish the tracks of wild animals, to predict the weather and arrange a safe night's lodging.

During this extreme tour you will be accompanied by guides and huntsmen (4 people: expeditionary physician, experienced huntsman, psychologist, leader of hikes and expeditions). But they will not be presented to you at once. Only in the course of time you will recognize them in the members of your group. You can choose the leader of the group that will lead you through all the difficulties of the taiga. They can help you to build a fire, get food, protect yourself from the dangers of a deaf Baikal taiga. But in the first days of travel, all this will be done independently, coming to mutual assistance to each other.

In addition to the guides you will have two operators who will capture the most interesting moments of your hard but interesting adventure - a quality film will remain with you for life.

Guides will show you if necessary how to get a nut from the highest cedar, help to find and prepare edible mushrooms and berries, will show which plants can be eaten and used as medicines. They can teach the art of obtaining wild animals without weapons, and fish - without special gear.

In this case, you will not be in one place. You will be constantly on the move. The goal is to get to civilization in a short time. You will need to overcome the difficulties of the seven-day trek from the Pat Highland to the shore of Lake Baikal along the mountain-taiga trail. The most well-known trails of the Baikal area pass along ancient caravan routes, laid during the times when the shore of Lake Baikal represented the most difficult part of the road from west to east. Part of your trail was the stage of the "Tea Route", and later the Staro-Comar road from the station. Slyudyanka to the river Urik along the Shibutuy through the Patowoye Lake to the valley of the Snezhnaya River.

The length of your route will be about 100 km.

This route is one of the most interesting routes in the area. The participants of the hike are given the opportunity to get acquainted with the majestic mountain range of Khamar-Daban, the rich animal and vegetable world of the Baikal region. In addition, the route is exceptionally beautiful! And most importantly - this is one of the most "wild" and little visited areas due to the remoteness of the region.

The air temperature during the day is from +10 C to +25 C, at night from +2 C to +10 C.

Delivery from Irkutsk to the place of origin (Khamar-Daban Range, Patovoye Highlands) by helicopter MI-8 at a height of about 2050 m above sea level. Travel time from Irkutsk to the Pat Highland is about one and a half hours.

Having overcome all the difficulties of the taiga and Baikal mountains, you will reach the village of Murino, on the shore of Lake Baikal. Here you will be met by representatives of the "Baikal Adventures" with a delicious lunch, champagne, and other benefits of civilization. Near you will be a hot Siberian bath!

It is supposed to live in taiga conditions - spending the night in the open air or in winter huts. Winteryards are set here at a distance of one running day (of course, if you find them).

All participants of the group will have insurance for air evacuation. One of the guides of the group is a medic. The guides will have satellite communication and a gun, which they will use in an emergency (in the taiga, a meeting with a wild beast is possible). Also you will have an untouchable supply of food in case you can not get food yourself.
